Good morning everyone, hope you're all doing well. I wanted to ask for some advice after a discussion we had during a maintenance review at our facility. We’ve recently added more electronic equipment, and our engineering team noticed that the electrical loads are no longer as straightforward as they used to be. While exploring possible solutions, one of the engineers recommended looking into k factor rated transformers because they said these are often selected for systems with higher harmonic loads. I’d rather hear from people with practical experience than rely only on technical documents. Has anyone here used them, and what differences did you notice after installation?
